New Life Baptist Church Doctrinal Statement

 

We believe the Bible is the Word of God.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is God. Jesus is Co-existent, Co-equal, and Co-eternal with the Father.

We believe that Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross, and that our redemption is assured by His resurrection from the dead in the identical, though glorified, body in which He was crucified.

We are anxiously awaiting The Rapture, when He will bring all of His own people to Heaven. From that time forth we shall forever be with Christ.

We believe that after He has presented His bride (the church) to the Father, and after the tribulation period, Jesus will return to the Earth and set up His 1,000-year reign upon the Earth. After this, there will be final judgment for all who do not believe.
